And you thought "Rescue 77" was bad...

I'm going to check it out -- I mean, hey, how many shows about EMS are on TV?

Hopefully it won't be as crap-tastic as the last few (remember "Saved?")

Until they stop trying to make these things larger than life they will never get it right. Drama resides in the most subtle places, not the explosions and high octane bullshit.

Welcome back, Ted.

I agree completely Mike! I'm still waiting for something to grab me like Emergency! did when I was a kid.

Of course, I was a kid, but the show still stands up on DVD today, darn it....

And thanks for the welcome back. It's been a tough month for my service, which has made the blogging suffer. Time to get back on the horse.

It's based on San Fransisco Fire- what were you expecting, the stories of a high-quality EMS system?

Oh, judging by the trailer I think it will be super-crap-tastical

Rescue 77.....

Is that where the guy does a handstand on the defib paddles so he doesn't get electrocuted because he's standing in water?

I've been looking for that video clip for years! :)

hey hey, i think it looks very realistic, just the other day a patient's mother helped me trach her daughter in the back of an oversized death moth while i wore a really ugly jumpsuit.....and we will be skipping the two episodes of this show that will air.

You know, I didn't see any overweight, tabacco spitting, handsome medics on this trailer, whats up with that?, Major.
